Abstract: This paper introduces a novel radiant heat flux measurement method based on bimaterial microcantilever. Focus on flame radiant heat flux measurement, the theoretical analysis and optimization of the bimaterial microcantilever, such as its shape, size and thickness ratio are carried out. So the dynamic response time and measurement range of flame radiant heat flux are discussed and determined.
