Abstract: Computational results of different FDS versions based on the Steckler room fire were analyzed. while comparing the results of different versions, a method of cluster analysis is employed. From the analysis, it can be known that, the simulative results of FDS3.0, FDS4.0 and FDS5.0 are basically close to each other. Compared with these three versions, FDS1.0 version is out of the ordinary in the simulative results, whereas the results of FDS2.0 version have the smaller difference. Finally, to some extent, the paper has made a reasonable explanation for the reasons of these induced differences.
